Many things brewing

It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog post, and I realized I’ve been lagging behind in sharing updates about my projects. I have been working on two new apps besides updates to the existing ones, and I have had a draft of couple blog entries for long time. I just realized that my system has not been great for drafting (something I need to work on).

Anyways, BrewRatio has just had a major update. I added landscape mode and localized it to Finnish, which I wanted to do for a long time but thought it would be a lot of work. Guess what, it was a lot of work but it was worth it I think.

In other news, the Sit Work Stand Repeat app has been brewing for a while. I have few ideas for it yet that need me to focus on the graphical side, which is not perhaps my strong side, but I’ll get some consultation from some friends on it.

In addition, I’ve been working on a note taking app that syncs to your own SSH server. It’s almost ready to go live, but I need to do some more testing with it. I’ve been using it myself for a while and it’s really useful so far, and I think lot of people could be interested in having their private notes fully under their own control without relying on third party servers.

And you know, more ideas in my head than I have time for. I really need to check how to get started with iOS development soon, because I know I’m missing major part of the potential user base by being Android only. That’s a goal for this year I guess.
